A Be-Inspired 2010 Women’s Day to Remember!

Giving all due high honor and praise to our precious Lord and Savior for the favor given to the first
Be-Inspired Women’s Day 2010! Envision angels rejoicing in heaven; now clap with them for just a moment! And say Hallelujah!! That’s it! Give up it for God! He’s AWESOME! Can’t “nobody” satisfy us like Jesus!! He reigns!!

Thank you Lord for many women You drew to attend the 2010 Be-Inspired Women’s Day Conference. I hope that your servants met needs of others, be it through prayer, testimony, laughter, financial, health and spiritual teachings, advice, birthed friendships, gifts, pampering, food, clothing…or in secret, whatever the need– that on that day, 28 August 2010, needs were met. A shout out to the winners! “Team, Sophisticated Ladies” (who all snapped their fingers to the right) for winning the purse scavenger hunt! Wasn’t that fun!? The challenge let us know we need to clean out of purses! 

Dear Lord, we recognize that You and only You are the Provider for Your people and if we do any good thing, it is because of the Spirit (the Holy Comforter) that You sent to us the day we repented of our sins. For Lord, God, we have understanding that Your word declares, and we humbly accept, that we can do nothing on our own.

Your presence was manifested at the special Be-Inspired Women’s Day 2010 because so many women were touched, reached, moved and blessed. Love was present, smiles, confidence, appreciation, determination and inspiration to run this race and to seek victory in our lives. Dear God, please give an increase, from Your riches in glory, to the women who attended and those who wanted to but could not make it. Send others across paths to water the seeds of love, comfort and perseverance. And above all, Lord, in Your kindness, bless the hands that helped in any way. You know them, one-by-one. I ask as, your beloved daughter, that You give an abundant return on each person’s giving or gift from the least to the most; be it material, monetary, service, word or deed.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to bless the homeless shelter (Agape House) and for the Director (a living Matthew 18:12 testament; leaving the 99 sheep to go after the one lost sheep). This faithful disciple is truly walking in an awesome calling –and as she expressed a deep gratitude to all the women who supported the shelter, she especially thanked You, God, for putting the Agape House on the Be-inspired CEO’s heart to bless her shelter in a time of need. God, please keep Your hand on the Director of the Agape Homeless shelter, for she is truly being diligent in encouraging women to seek Christ in their lives, despite current circumstances.

Many thanks to the Agape House Director for sharing her testimony about her unrelenting will and service to help other women, who at this time in their lives are less fortunate. Many of us who now have (shelter, food, finances, good health, wisdom, clothing, peace, joy, and a sound mind); we remember when we too were among the “have-nots” and we take nothing for granted in our season of restoration. Amen?

Thank You Jesus! thank You Father in Heaven!!; It was good that we were afflicted! You purged our hearts and gave us a new direction, new thoughts, renewed hope. You exchanged our ashes for YOUR beauty. Your grace and mercy towards us, even in our sins, cannot be repaid, nor Your love towards us, can it be measured. Thank You for dying on the cross, just so that we may have life and have it to the fullest (John 10:10). Thank You always for setting us free from bondage, lack, strongholds, fear and sin. In the Holy and Powerful Name; the Name above all Names, JESUS, our Redeemer, Sheppard and Provider. AMEN

Women of God, those who have already arrived, those still on the way, and those who don’t even know yet, that they too have an appointment at Jacob’s well (John 4:5), let your joy be full in knowing you did a mighty work for the Kingdom of God with your plentiful donations. If the day was a blessing, or even if you missed it and you desire another opportunity to fellowship, pray that the event will be His will for next year! As always, “To God be the Glory!” This has been a God’s Eye View!

The Women’s Day Event is fast approaching; sisters supporting sisters…

Long ago when I was walking reverently and totally submitted in affliction from my disobedience, I’d encounter mistresses (harlots). Some people vehemently judge them, they anger many unsuspecting wives. Even worse, some of these sisters had a cavalier attitude about their sin: “Don’t hate me because you can’t keep your man.” It was enough to make a violated wife, without wisdom, lose self-esteem, fall into depression, have wicked imaginations, doubt her significance, or become bitterly enraged/violent, while other wives woefully accepted sharing their spouse with others. Truth be told, hurt sisters were hurting sisters. Oh, but thank God for Jesus!! A Rescuer in the time of need!

Many of us unknowingly met Him at our appointed time. You know; at Jacob’s well; the same place where He met up with a town’s well-known mistress? He met us there too because there is no sin that is not common to man (1Corinthians 10:12-13). Yes, Jesus took time out of His travels just to stop and have a private chat with sisters like you and I. He shares wisdom about how He (and only He) could cure our thirst (John 4:13). He knew when He saw us subject ourselves to anything less than His undefiled love, we were thirsty (drawing from a well that would never satisfy).

I sat at Jesus’ feet and learned all about God’s creations, how sin entered man etc.; years passed. I soon crossed the paths of some of the same mistresses who had caused some of my pain. They’d aged. They looked defeated. Their beauty was gone. Their glow?; missing. In fact, I passed one in a store one day. She was sitting on a bench as I walked by. I spoke, (while trying not to stare) and she spoke trying not to be rude. I use to admire how neat and beautiful she was 20 years ago, but at this particular time, she actually looked unkempt, down and out. I recall whispering to God, “I could have been her but, You didn’t let me. Thank you.”

One of the many things the Lord shared with me that I pass on to sisters in Christ; it may be hard, but never judge another sister’s foolish ways, indiscretions or insecurities because in the day she too comes to Christ, you may be the very one whom God calls on to welcome her to the body of Christ. Stand Ready sister, stand ready.

Be Wise about Ownership

Be Wise About Ownership

So let us be mindful that it costs much to be an owner…the more we own, the more self inflicted burdens there can be in this earthly life. The more we own, the more care is involved; the more time, financial and emotional investments. If we look back over our lives and added up the cost of ownership, then perhaps we’d have better understanding why God never rendered ownership to us. It’s too much for us and it comes with a price. We took “ownership” in our lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

Consider when God told us to give back to HIM our first born (Exodus 13:2) and even our bodies are not our own (I Corinthians 6:19-20). How about the advice given by Jesus that none could come unto Him unless we came as little children? (Luke 18:17). Exactly how much does a child own? Think about it, even the joy we have that surpasses all understanding is the joy of Jesus. John 14: 9-11 speaks clearly to the OWNERSHIP love and joy. Amen?

If perhaps those scriptures are not clear enough in giving understanding that God never intended for us to own anything (except eternal life), recall when Jesus stated that no one is worthy of the kingdom who loves his family more than Him? This is a hard teaching (Matt 10:37 and Luke 14:26). Then Jesus confounded the wise by saying those who follow Him are considered His family, not blood relatives (Matt 12:46-50). Never-the-less, don’t we still claim (own) our blood relatives? As Christians we can’t help it. How many among us try to own revenge when we’re wronged? (Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19). Despite the many years of boldly hurrying to church for sermons and singing, it seems we’re still not hearing (Acts 28: 26-27?)

Hear to remind ourselves; we don’t own anything or anyone. Yes proud parents, take a deep breath and inhale some wisdom in order for your blessings to flow abundantly beyond yesterday…When we get understanding, burdens are lifted, yokes are broken, breakthroughs happen and deliverance is ours.

The truth is; we own nothing (if we know what’s good for us).

A Test

A Test

I hear the Holy Spirit speaking this morning saying we all have a TESTimony but we struggle with a TEST. Take this test for an example: We all know there were 12 disciples closest to Jesus when He walked the earth. Out of the twelve, two, Satan entered (Matt 16:23 and Luke 22:3). If you were among the twelve, do you believe that you would have been one of the two whom Satan would have chosen to enter? If yes, why do you think so? If not, why do you think not? What did the scriptures reveal about these two disciples that made them more vulnerable than the other 10 disciples? Can you pass this test?

Let us consider, at the time that Satan entered two of the disciples, Jesus had not yet died and sent His Spirit. That’s awesome!! Did Satan enter any of the disciples after Pentecost? Could it be that Satan’s spirit can’t enter anyone after the Spirit of God has taken up residence? Look at who boldly spoke at Pentecost (ACTS 2:1).

This is an open book test. If you are led to read the scriptures for yourself and sincerely ask God to open the scriptures up to you, there are the answers to the test. The Lord encourages us to pass the TEST so we may have a TESTIMONY to help others. For in passing your test, you would discover that it is by ungodly habits (our sinful vulnerabilities): deceptions (being two-faced), greed, a lying tongue, socializing with people who are against your Jesus, stealing, sneaking, backstabbing, profane mouths, taking bribes, and hypocrisies that create crevices in our character for Satan’s unseen entrance (into those not yet filled with the Holy Spirit). BTW, these noted ungodly behaviors are no more (and no less) than behaviors of the two disciples Satan chose to enter.

Do you have behaviors or habits that left a tiny crevice for the enemy of God to enter? Are you sure you’re filled with the Holy Spirit? Can the Holy Spirit Be quenched? Those with a TESTimony, did you pass this test? Those who failed, expect a test.

Be Inspired not to be vulnerable to evil with a God’s Eye View!
